Stress Awareness Month - April

We know that that whilst we have a pandemic amongst us our stress levels have probably rocketed, but it is also a good time to reflect on ourselves and look out for others who maybe suffering to. 
Here is a quick list to help bring that cortisol down.
  1. Slow Down (you're allowed time to relax)
  2. Breathe Deeply (belly breathe - in through the nose and out of the mouth)
  3.  Exercise as it will increase endorphins (the happy hormone)
  4.  Eat Fresh and avoid caffeine 
  5.  Sleep - so under rated! This is a time for your mind and body to heal
  6.  Talk to others  - There is always someone on the end of a line
  7.  Acceptance  - some things you can not change
  8.  Meditate - lots of lovely guided meditations on YouTube
  9.  Make a 'To-Do' list - hobbies/chores/jobs, it makes you feel more in control, organised and accomplished 
  10.  Lastly, be kind to yourself - YOU are the most important thing in YOUR life.

Workplace Massage and Wellbeing  are always here through this difficult time, and even though we can't see you face to face or use our hands on therapies we are still here to support you if you need us. Take care and stay safe.
